part of my collection, seen in a glass ball

Most of the instruments shown in this website are from my vast collection of over 200 different plucked stringed instruments.

Many of the instruments were bought during my travels (as a tourist) to many far away places (yes indeed, I could make another large web site with stories and photos of those travels....).
Another large source has been via searching the internet for shops selling special instruments, and of course also by keeping a watchful eye on sites like eBay.
The first option means carrying the instruments sometimes for the whole trip, and home on the plane; the second means paying quite a lot for the shipping cost.

All instruments are in one room and are hanging in such a way that they can be seen individually. However we have now reached the point, that shifting up some instruments to make space for a new arrival, is getting difficult : all gaps are filled. Nevertheless I hope to still present them in such a way that each one can be seen, and avoiding having just a store room full of instruments.
